When, out of nowhere, the woman just across the table from me was bleeding. Relatively profusely. Needless to say, we stopped my intro while we tended to the blood running down her face. It wasn't a nose bleed, just random blood.
This is my favourite time of the day...
sitting quietly in the living room before everyone else wakes up - I am in 'my' spot and only the cats have noticed; I have soaking music playing quietly in the background - it's a new cd I bought yesterday and I love it... and I'm with you...
I was. Sometimes I still am. But at least now I'm aware of the habit and when I do it.
Here's how it all happened...
One day I was sitting and watching my little black cat, Luna, sitting and watching the humdifier.
(Catch that? I was sitting and watching her sitting and watching it. You can tell where this is going, right?)
Waiting...
Waiting for a bubble to pop up.
Everytime it bubbled she would pounce. And whap the humidifier. And generally show it who was boss.
Except that it's a humidifier and didn't care about Luna's authoritative whapping.
I know you want it... everyone does.
At least, pretty much everyone who comes to me for a Strategy Session says that they want it.
I think that this image below captures what we want. Peace. Quiet. Beauty. Tranquility.
She has it all. This is clearly Inner Peace.
Or is it? Is this really what peace looks like?
After my client has learned to connect with her unconscious mind and find out what is going on in there (it's usually a whole heckuvalot!!) then we learn how to connect to Source.
I've learned that it's only after we start practicing radical self-care and nourishing ourselves that we have any space at all to learn and use skills and tools to improve our marriage relationships.
I keep them in my toolkit for whenever my unconscious mind needs to do a purge and I begin to feel that feeling of over-arching, overwhelming anxiety...
In the normal world, getting convicted is a bad thing - it usually involves a jail cell. But in faith, getting convicted is definitely a good thing - it's God busting you out of jail. Let's find out more...
