New Books

Otter Thompson: Taking it slow

'Aha!' I thought to myself the other day. I'd finally found a flaw with Walking Through Illusion, Betsy Otter Thompson's excellent book to be released in January. I had just slammed through four chapters (I've read 11 now if you are keeping track) and suddenly it occurred to me that this is not a book to be read quickly.

More New Books

To celebrate completing my Embodied Wisdom course last week, I bought myself a couple of books that have been dogging me over the past month.

New Books by Muscle Testing

I got to the Chapter's, assembled my happy stack of books, started to weed out which ones I wanted and then realized that I'd forgotten my gift cards at home.

Ack! Yes. It was one of those days. The kind of day when I am tempted to get back into bed, have a nap, and then pretend when I wake up that it is a new day and nothing has happened.

Rubin: The Happiness Project

I'll have to add this to my list of books to read. According to the article, Rubin took a year to learn how to be happy and each month had a different task.

Ack! Too many books, not enough time…

I've totally blown it. My fabulous course, Embodied Wisdom, starts on Monday and I have only read one of the four required books and none of the recommended ones.

I admit, I got lost in Jung's Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Who wouldn't? After all, it is incredibly rich material.
