The Loop Only Closes When I Hear You Speak

I think maybe you don’t fully know the power you have.

We’re so used to staying silent and assuming that our little voice couldn’t possibly make that much of a difference that we just… don’t say anything at all.

We hide our needs and desires and pleasure away, hoping that the people around us will somehow read our minds and hand us exactly what we long for.

It just isn’t so.

And somewhere along the way, the self-development industry convinced us that our voice is best used for identifying problems. Naming wounds. And fixing what’s broken.

That’s important. Of course it is.

But that’s not the only sacred use of your voice.

Using Your Voice to Lift Someone Up with Completion Energy

You can also use your voice to lift someone up. To express pleasure and joy and gratitude.

And you can use your voice to say, ‘this mattered to me. This helped. This changed something in me.’

When you do that, something beautiful happens. You create a positive feedback loop where your celebration lifts someone else up while making you feel better for focusing on what’s good.

It creates a biochemical cascade of goodness.

Today, I’m Making a Request for Your Voice

As an author and creator, your feedback is food for my Soul. It nourishes my creativity, strengthens my courage, and helps me keep building.

Sometimes it’s the difference between someone finding this work… or staying alone inside their suffering.

The Power of Completion Energy

It means the world to me when my people (hint: that’s you!) engage with my work and let me know what it has meant to them. One of my mentors calls it ‘completion energy’ and that is such a beautiful way of describing the loop that we want to be creating:

The Divine pours something through me to be manifested here on the physical plane…

I send my creation energy out to you and it opens a loop…

… and I wait …

… and you, at some point, respond with joy and Aha! moments and the ways that my work has impacted you …

You get the oxytocin hit of connection and completion and I get that same hit and we both get to sit here enjoying our altered state of gratitude and joy and completion. 

In that moment, the loop closes.

This delicious completion energy attracts more people to engage in our fun.

And we do it again. And again. Our lives improve. And we change the world.
More resonance, trust, and transformation.

Imagine If Changing the World Felt Fun and Easy

It’s so cool.

If we let it, it can actually be fun. And that’s the kind of world I choose to live in.
